PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an ankle from being twisted and to mitigate an impact in a collision of an automobile in which a heel stopper engaged with a heel of an occupant in a front seat is disposed on the lower part of a dash panel. SOLUTION: The heel stopper H comprises a receiving plate 1 having a heel receiving surface 1s on an outer surface with the inner surface thereof facing the dash panel D with a space S therebetween, a front support plate 2 which is integrally connected to the front end of the receiving plate 1, and coupled with the dash panel D, and a rear support plate 3 which is integrally connected to the rear end of the receiving plate 1, and coupled with at least either of the dash panel D or a floor panel F. The rear support plate 3 is formed more brittle than the receiving plate 1 and the front support plate 2 so that the rear support plate 3 is buckled by a push-in load not less than a predetermined value applied to the receiving plate 1, and the bending rigidity of the front support plate 2 and the receiving plate 1 is set so that the front support plate 2 is collapsed forward by the push-in load not less than the predetermined value applied to the receiving plate 1 to settle the receiving plate 1 forward.
