PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle having the strength strong enough for enduring the load at the time of inputting a safety belt anchor, capable of directly transmitting the load to catcher brackets outside a movable rail, and having no overhang outward. SOLUTION: The seat comprises a fixed rail 3, the movable rail 4, a lower catcher bracket 6 supported by the fixed rail 3, and an upper catcher bracket 7 with one side 7a held by the movable rail 4 and the other side 7b engaged with the lower catcher bracket 6.
