The turbomachine works on the principle of gases entering a casing to drive the blades of at least one rotor, the axis of which is arranged vertically. The casing (1) is spherical in shape, with the inlet (2) and exhaust (3) as segment-type sphere sections, with the rotor dividing the inside of the sphere into an upper and a lower chamber. The sphere segments for the inlet and exhaust each comprise a quarter of the surface of the sphere, with the inlet located at the bottom and the exhaust lying opposite at the top.
