<p>The invention concerns a device for storing and transferring sections of rubber strips designed for making a tyre casing, comprising a cylindrical storage drum mounted rotatable about a horizontal axis of revolution (A4) on a frame, itself mounted on a support. The invention is characterized in that it comprises a flexible conveyor belt forming a closed loop, circulating around part of the drum and a guide assembly, the drum and the flexible conveyor belt being adapted to enclose a strip section. The frame may likewise be mounted rotatable on the support about a second axis (A5), perpendicular to the axis of revolution (A4) of the storage drum.</p> |
