The two-stroke engine with hydrogen and air valves is operated by separately feeding combustible gas, as a mixture of hydrogen and air, in mono gas columns (2) into the combustion chamber if the pressure in the combustion chamber is less than the feed pressure. The gas pressure is regulated before the inlet. First of all, the mixing into detonating gas takes place in the combustion chamber. The valves (1) are located before the mono gas columns. A water dosing valve (6) opens only once briefly and allows a dosed amount of water into the combustion chamber. |
