PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the controllability of an outside handle for a handle device of a push-pull type door. SOLUTION: A latch protrusion 30a of the door 21 is unlocked from a door frame 22 when an inside handle 25 is pressed toward the door 21. The latch protrusion 30a is unlocked from the door frame 22 when the outside handle 26 is pulled from the door 21. The door 21 is opened when turned from the inside to the outside. Guide mechanisms 40A and 40B guide the outside handle 26 to move linearly and vertically relative to the door 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
