PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which has no risk of generating abnormal sounds when being operated and to provide an image forming device using a fixing roll. SOLUTION: A pressure roll 12 has a cylinder body 24 which is made of aluminum and is longer than a maximum width of a carried form. The cylinder body 24 has a support shaft 21 longer than the cylinder body 24 so as to be pierced by the support shaft 21. The support shaft 21 is provided with two bearings 22 with a prescribed gap between them. Outer peripheral surfaces 22a of the bearings 22 are provided in contact with an inner peripheral surface 24a of the cylinder body 24, so that the cylinder body 24 is made rotatable. The support shaft 21 is provided with collars 23 in order to stop movement of the bearings 22 in the axial direction. Gaps 26 are provided between the collars 23 and the bearings 22.
