PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent dew condensation in an imaging device even when it is necessary to cool the imaging device because prolonged exposure is performed such as that in astrophotography. SOLUTION: The housing for an imaging device has a bag-like case body constituted of soft sheet material 12 and having an aperture part, a sealing part 14 for sealing the aperture part in an airtight state when a digital camera 11 is housed inside the case body, a transparent member (glass plate) attached by a photographic lens attaching part 16 provided at a position corresponding to the photographic lens of the camera 11 housed inside the case body, and an exhaust valve 22 and a suction valve 24 for sucking and discharging gas inside the case body.
