PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal television monitor display device with a heat insulating and cooling function which can keep a liquid crystal panel and a back light at optimum temperature where normal operation is always performed irrelevantly to any change in outside air temperature when installed outdoors, e.g. at a platform of a station. SOLUTION: In a monitor housing 11, a liquid crystal display unit 17 is arranged slantingly forward on the display surface side, an exhaust hole 19b at an upper part on the back side of the liquid crystal display unit 17 and an air intake 19a at a lower part are formed, and a heater 13 and a fan 12 are provided nearby the air intake 19a at the lower part.
