PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector which can construct an inexpensive, high-density optical wiring system, an optical wiring system, and a method of manufacturing the optical connector. SOLUTION: The optical connector 1 has a connector ferrule 2, which is provided with a plurality of fiber holes 3 in two-stage array structure. An optical fiber 8 is inserted into and fixed in each fiber hole 3. At the front end part of the connector ferrule 2, a groove part 12 which extends in the array direction of the fiber holes 3 is formed parting respective optical fibers 8. In the groove part 12, an optical member 13 is arranged which multiplexes and demultiplexes light of specified wavelength from an optical fiber 8 inserted into one upper-stage or lower-stage optical fiber hole 3 to an optical fiber 8 inserted into the other upper-stage or lower-stage optical fiber hole 3. This optical member 13 is composed of a parallelogram type prism 14 having an angle of 45°, a wavelength selective, filter 15, and a total reflecting mirror 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
