PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing toner by which a kneaded material containing a large amount of a release agent can be fused and kneaded by using an open roll type kneading machine without causing a problem such as dropping of the kneaded material and the obtained toner has excellent dispersibility of the release agent and a colorant and can be suitably used for oil-less fixing. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing toner includes a process of fusing and kneading at least a binder resin, a colorant and a release agent by using an open roll type kneading machine. The colorant comprises a compound expressed by formula (I), and the release agent comprises an ester of hydroxylic acid. The total content of the compound expressed by formula (I) and the release agent is 7.5 to 30 wt.% in the toner. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
