PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal mold for molding optical connector ferrule which can easily improve the position precision of an optical fiber hole for a guide hole for an optical connector ferrule. SOLUTION: The metal mold 1 for molding optical connector ferrule has four optical fiber hole forming pins 8 for forming optical fiber holes, a couple of guide hole forming pins 7 for forming guide holes, a couple of grip members 11a and 11b having grip parts 9a and 9b gripping one-end sides of the optical fiber hole forming pins 8 and guide hole forming pins, a pin holding member 16 which holds the other-end sides of the optical fiber hole forming pins 8 in 1st thrust-in holes 16 and the other-end sides of the respective guide hole forming pins 7 in 2nd thrust-in holes 15 respectively while thrusting them in, and a couple of metal mold body members 10a and 10b between which the optical fiber hole forming pins 8, etc., are held to form corresponding cavities in the optical connector ferrule, and is characterized in that the 1st thrust-in holes 16 and 2nd thrust-in holes 15 being mutually eccentric by a specified quantity in a specified direction.
