PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic positively acting on an object of prevention of skin roughening and amelioration of the skin roughening which cannot be satisfied with a conventional cosmetic. SOLUTION: The cosmetic is obtained by formulating an extract from a spike of Perilla frutescens crispa. The cosmetic effectively exhibits preventing and ameliorating effects on the skin roughening.
