Live feed is dispensed at time intervals to fish or other water creatures. The creatures (e.g. Artemia Salina) constituting the feed are transferred from a storage container together with a carrier medium into a separating container where they are separated from the carrier medium and then supplied as feed. The quantity of feed is set by a time controller. The carrier medium may be saltwater.
