<p>The present invention relates to the identification of a nucleotide sequence that is conserved in the genome of the Mouse Hepatitis Virus (MHV) and to the design and construction of synthetic nucleotide primers and probes that target this conserved region. The invention further provides for methods and kits that use these primers and probes to detect the presence of Mouse Hepatitis virus in a test sample.</p> |
