<p>The device comprises a channel-shaped member (14, 42) having an open top end (46) to slidably receive one leg (18) of a ladder (10). A support block (20, 56) is dimensioned to fit within the channel. The support block (20, 56) is secured in a selected one of a plurality of positions along the length of the channel. A non-slip foot (32, 48) is provided at the bottom end of the channel-shaped member (14, 42). The device enables the ladder (10) to stand on an uneven surface (12).</p> |
