The device provides a virtual interactive network service card (7) dependent on the real payment provided at an interface (1), e.g. using a payment card (4) and uses a processor for output, management and calculation of the interactive network service costs, linked to a processor at the client location (2) and to the service providers (3), for controlling client access to the latter. An Independent claim for a method for handling virtual payments for interactive network services is also included.
