摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retain a lowest pressure in a low pressure accumulator by improving a type where the fuel under the high pressure is delivered to, at least, a single high pressure accumulator 12 by a high pressure pump 10, the high pressure accumulator is connected to a plurality of injectors 20 disposed in a cylinder of the internal combustion engine, and the injectors are connected to the common low pressure accumulator in a fuel injection device for the internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: A prescribed low pressure is retained by a pressure retaining valve 52 in the low pressure accumulator 50, and a pressure control valve 60 is provided therein. The pressure control valve controls the outflow of the fuel from, at least, the single high pressure accumulator 12 to the low pressure region via an outflow control connecting passage 62, so as to control the pressure in the high pressure accumulator and the outflow control connecting passage 62 of the pressure control valve can be connected to the low pressure accumulator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
