<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) production promoter having excellent vascularization induction effect. <P>SOLUTION: The vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is obtained by including a Nasturtiumofficinale R. extract in a base or a carrier, is safe and has excellent stability and vascularization induction effect. Water, ethanol or their mixed solvent is preferably used as an extractant for Nasturtiumofficinale R.
