<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LCD which can displays a tinge of red with a natural color tinge even when an image having a large tinge of red like an image photographed by an endoscope apparatus is displayed. <P>SOLUTION: The medical image display device which uses an LCD with a back light uses a red-reinforced back light. Here, as the red-reinforced back light, a back light which guides light from a light source composed of a white light source and a red light source to the liquid crystal panel of the LCD by a light guide plate, a back light provided with a light source configured by uniformly arranging a white light source and a red light source across a diffusion plate right below the liquid crystal panel of the LCD, or a back light which has a white light source arranged across a diffusion plate right below the liquid crystal panel of the LCD and guides the light from a red light source to the diffusion plate through the light guide plate in parallel thereto is suitably used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
