<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing air from floating foams formed in floatation operation of a paper fiber-containing suspension, making it possible that the air is removed from the outflowing foams without requiring a lot of time and labor. <P>SOLUTION: This apparatus for removing the air from the floating foams formed in the floatation operation of the paper fiber-containing suspension is so structured that a rotor has a shaft (3), at least one of rotor blade (4) is mounted on a peripheral surface of the shaft, and the rotor is surrounded with non-rotating walls (2, 2', 2") in a region in which the rotor blade (4) exists. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
