<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a substantially constant slip rate from start of a braking operation to stop thereof, and to keep a high road face μ during this interval to brake a vehicle, in a vehicular brake system provided with an ABS brake system. <P>SOLUTION: A linear regulator 28 is provided to serve as a negative pressure control means for controlling negative pressure of a negative pressure chamber of a booster cylinder 20, in a hydraulic circuit 4 of the brake system, and the linear regulator 28 is controlled by a signal from an ABS controller 5. Oil pressure of a master cylinder 11 is reduced thereby to restrain pressure fluctuation in a wheel cylinder 12 and fluctuation of the slip rate generated resulting therefrom is restrained thereby. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
