<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail bracket easy in installation of a bracket body to a base, having no play of the bracket body to the base, preventing the bracket body from getting loose to the base, and preventing a handrail from getting unstable. <P>SOLUTION: The base 2 has a base side fitting part 11 projecting toward the bracket body 3 side, and formed in a tapering shape. The bracket body 3 has a bracket side fitting part 12 formed so as to expand toward the base 2 side in response to a shape of the base side fitting part 11, and fitted to the base side fitting part 11.
