PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing polymerization toner in a suspension polymerization method for obtaining polymer fine particles suitable for the manufacture of toner so as to narrow the size distribution of the obtained polymer fine particles and to obtain high production efficiency. SOLUTION: In the polymerization toner containing suspension polymerized fine particles obtained by suspension polymerization of a polymerizable monomer composition containing at least a polymerizable monomer and a coloring agent in an aqueous dispersion medium, the suspension polymerized fine particles are obtained by preliminarily dispersing the polymerizable monomer composition by a batch method in the aqueous dispersion medium to prepare a pre-dispersion liquid, introducing the liquid into a device which continuously adds shear force to prepare a dispersion liquid of the polymerizable monomer composition having a desired liquid drop diameter, and successively subjecting the liquid to a polymerization process to complete the polymerization.
