PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the deterioration of a steering feeling caused by the variation of an electric power steering device. SOLUTION: A target steering torque computing means 33 computes target steering torque. A deflection computing means 35 computes a difference between the target steering torque and detected steering torque provided from a torque sensor 14. An electric current correction quantity computing means 36 computes an electric current correction quantity to correct a basic assist electric current in accordance with the information of the difference. The electric current correction quantity computing means 36 memorizes the computed correction quantity in an electric current correction quantity memory means 37. An electric current control means 28 corrects the basic assist electric current by adding the electric current correction quantity memorized in the electric current correction quantity memory means 37 to the basic assist electric current.
