<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-treatment device for preventing jamming due to failure of loading sheets on a tray. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet post-treatment device discharges sheet bundles stapled by a stapling machine 40 to an elevating tray 16. There is provided with a detection sensor 74 for detecting that an uppermost sheet on the tray 16 is loaded at a predetermined height. When the detection sensor 74 counts and detects the number of continuously discharging the sheet bundles on the tray 16, the tray 16 is made to descend. Even if the counted number reaches to a predetermined number, when the detection sensor 74 does not detect it, a discharge action is suspended. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
