PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate a measured flow even if an excitation current is changed over by multiple stages in a wide range. SOLUTION: Adjustment coefficients for correcting errors occurring in changing over an excitation current by multiple stages in a wide range, that is, errors caused by magnetic flux differentiation noise, and errors caused by the non- linearity of a magnetic field/magnetic flux density characteristic, are previously registered in a memory 5D for each excitation current. When a measured flow is calculated by a measured flow calculating means 5A, the calculated flow is corrected by using an adjustment coefficient corresponding to the then excitation current.
