PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push chain to be set on a sprocket and pushed out with rotation of the sprocket, capable of bending to both side of inside and outside without causing a buckling when being pushed out. SOLUTION: The push chain is structured so that the distance between pins of adjoining links and the bush center is arranged so as to meet the condition that the tensile (L+)-compressive (L-)=2x pin-bush clearance, the plate end face corners are notched in large so as not to touch when bending, and that the dimensions of various parts meet the following formula; PLmin-OUTPITCHmax>INPITCHmax-CLEARANCEmin, where PLmin is the minimum plate length (the distance between the end faces of the plates abutting to each other), OUTPITCHmax is the maximum distance between the pin centers of the outer link, INPITCHmax is the maximum distance between the bush centers of the inner link, and CLEARANCE is the minimum pin-bush clearance.
