PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly lead a wire rope, led in and out for operating a working machine, in/out a guide sheave supported by a frame, regardless of the displacement of the working machine. SOLUTION: In this lifting mechanism 30 for a wire rope type working machine, a wire rope leading-in and -out section to the guide sheave 16 mounted on a device lifted by the wire rope 41, at least two guide rollers 32, 32 are disposed so as to sandwich the wire rope 41.
