PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain and prevent rectilineality of a vehicle from being fluctuated without bringing any influence on sound vibration performance in the vehicle. SOLUTION: The elastic center P of the second rack support part 7 for supporting a rack housing 5 is set not to make a relative position between a steering rack 4 and a body changed by force which wheels receives from a road face in rectilinear travel, based on anglesθ,δformed by the steering rack 4 and tie rods 21, 2r and a rack length L.
