PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic characteristic measuring device of an acceleration sensor capable of calibrating dynamic linearity with sufficient accuracy even in a DC type acceleration sensor. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a rod body such as a metal rod dropping in the vertical direction or in the oblique direction at an angle determined beforehand, capable of propagating an elastic wave, a means for allowing an object having comparatively low hardness such as aluminum or lead to collide with first one end of the rod body, a means for measuring the object speed by measuring the object speed by a method such as photoelectric measurement, a first acceleration detection means which is an accelerometer to be calibrated, capable of detecting the acceleration of movement of second one end of the rod body and a second acceleration detection means which is a standard accelerometer by a laser interferometer or the like, and a means for comparing the result of the first acceleration detection means with the result of the second acceleration detection means. The device is constituted so as to detect the acceleration of the movement of second one end of the rod body caused by an elastic wave generated by collision at the first one end of the rod body, by the first acceleration detection means and the second acceleration detection means respectively.
