<p>It is intended to provide a composition for eliminating or preventing bad breath which contains a compound having an effect of eliminating bad breath in an amount efficacious for eliminating bad breath. In an embodiment, the above compound can exert an effect of suppressing the production of a volatile sulfide by bacteria in the oral cavity. In an embodiment, the above volatile sulfide is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan and dimethyl sulfide. It is further intended to provide a composition for eliminating coat of the tongue containing a plant-origin preparation. In the composition for eliminating coat of the tongue, the plant-origin preparation contains a compound having an effect of eliminating coat of the tongue. In an embodiment, the above plant-origin preparation may be a press juice, a ground matter or a refined matter.</p> |
