<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence of fluctuated negative pressure in an intake generated after a braking operation onto a vacuum chamber, and to provide stable booster force to conduct the braking operation. <P>SOLUTION: This booster has a housing 1 for forming a pressure space in its inside, and power pistons 2, 3 for dividing the pressure space at least into two. The booster is provided with vacuum chambers 4A, 4B connected to an intake manifold 6 out of the divided spaces divided by the power pistons 2, 3, pressure change chambers 5A, 5B connected to the vacuum chambers 4A, 4B and the atmosphere, a check valve 8 provided inside piping 7 for connecting the intake manifold 6 to the vacuum chambers 4A, 4B, and an auxiliary tank 9 provided in the piping 7 between the check valve 8 and the vacuum chambers 4A, 4B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
