<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a reduction in cost of a product. <P>SOLUTION: A xenon discharge tube 31 whose outside diameter (d) is 2.5 mm is used and also an IGBT 53 is provided as a means for stopping discharge to the tube 31 in a light control circuit 44. A choke coil 45 where impedance is set so that a maximum current flowing in a stroboscopic circuit 41 may be equal to or under the allowable current of the IGBT 53 is positioned.
