摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device of an automobile for surely unfolding an air bag even if equipment projecting to the cabin inside is arranged on an instrument panel.

SOLUTION: The rear end of a joining part 22 to lower side base cloth 9 of a tether belt 19 is positioned in the rear of the rear end of the instrument panel 2 when inflating the air bag 5. A space S is formed since the tether belt 19 suspends a front side part of the lower side base cloth 8 so that a table 3 and the air bag 5 do not interfere with each other.
