PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure a flow even in measuring the flow of a gas, a liquid or the like, varying in flow or varying in pressure. SOLUTION: This flowmeter is equipped with flow measuring means 10 and 11 for measuring a flow in a flow path 9, a measurement control means 19 for performing a plurality of times of flow measurement in a cycle shorter than a pulsation cycle of pressure pulsation arising in the flow path 9, and a flow detection means 18 for finding an average flow, as a measured flow, from the plurality of times of flow measurement. Even if pressure variations arising in the flow path 9 vary in frequency, their effect can be reduced to allow stable flow measurement to be actualized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
