PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with improved display quality by suppressing the incompatibility when performing various information displays on the center of a pointer type display part in a display device to be loaded on, for example, an automobile, a motorcycle, a vessel, an agricultural or a construction machine or an airplane. SOLUTION: This display device has a first indicator DP1 for forming pointer type display parts 1-4 comprising a pointer 6 rotated around the axis and an index display part 7 according to the operation of the pointer 6, a second indicator DP2 for forming various pieces of display information, and a reflector 100 for projecting the display information of the second indicator DP2 to virtual images V1 and V2 to an observer side, which is arranged in front of the pointer 6 so as to shield at least the rotating center side of the pointer 6 and expose the tip side of the pointer 6 and the index display part 7 to the observer side. Accordingly, the display information is displayed as the virtual images V1 and V2 in a position deeper than the actual position of the reflector 100. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
