PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable gas filling device having improved filing efficiency by enabling preparing work for the detachment and transportation of a gas container to be performed independently from filling operation, and the next filling operation to be started in a short period of time after completing the filling operation. SOLUTION: The portable gas filling device comprises a base frame 12 having travelling wheels 11, filling frames 13 erected on the base frame, a filling main pipe 24 provided on the filling frame, and a plurality of filling branch pipes 25 branching from the filling main pipe. A supply pipe connection 22 and a filling initial valve 23 connected to a filling gas supply pipe are provided for the filling main pipe 24, and a filling connector 26 for connecting the gas container 31 to the filling branch pipes 25 is provided therefor.
