PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device whose power consumption is small, whose sound is quiet, whose response time is short, whose mechanical structure is simple, and which contributes to the reduction of the cost. SOLUTION: The optical device is provided with an optical system in which variable power is performed by one lens group or an integrated lens group 7, a variable shape mirror 4, a driving circuit 11 to drive the variable shape mirror and an imaging device 9, and it is constituted so that a specified resolving power chart 19 whose distance is recognized is provided, and the image of the resolving power chart 19 is photographed by adding driving information corresponding to the distance to the variable shape mirror 4, and the imaging device 9 is adjusted and fixed at a position at which the contrast of the image is substantially set maximum.
