PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a roofing tile cutter for positioning and placing a plate surface of a roofing tile on a plate surface of a receiving base at an accurate angle according to a gradient angle of a roof to a cutting line by a straight line cutting cutter by simple work. SOLUTION: The roofing tile receiving base 20 is provided with a gradient angle indexing apparatus 10 for setting a gradient angle of the roof from a corner angle with the other edge 12 other than the length adjusting edge by framing the three edges including the length adjusting edge 11 in an isosceles triangle shape, and a straight line ruler 20 for positioning and supporting the roofing tile R at an angle according to the gradient angle of the roof to the cutting line L by the straight line cutting cutter. The gradient angle indexing apparatus 10 for setting a shape in a frame corresponding to a prescribed gradient angle is placed on a surface of the receiving base 20 with the length adjusting edge 11 applied to the side edge of the receiving base 20 as a reference, and the straight line ruler 21 is positioned and set in a prescribed angle position by applying the other edge 13 other than the length adjusting edge to the lengthwise directional side edge.
