PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throating cover capable of securely preventing penetration of rainwater into sill or the like by constituting a waterproof cover capable of covering a gap between a building and its foundation or the like. SOLUTION: The throating cover is constituted of a throating cover body attached to the upper frame body of the foundation to have a gap between the foundation of a building body and the building, a waterproof piece fitting part formed on the lower inner wall face of the throating cover body, and a waterproof piece preventing penetration of rainwater or the like into the throating cover body by elastically sticking the front end attached to the waterproof fitting part to the external wall face of the foundation.
