The pneumatic massage machine (10) has a piston pump (16) with an electromotor (14) drive, where the cylinder (18) provides a large working zone (28) for the reciprocating piston (20). The channel link (40) between the cylinder zone and the massaging units has an electromagnetic control valve (38a) operated by an electrical or electronic control unit (50), to control the compressed air flow between the pump and the patient. Further electromagnetic valves (38b,38c) in the channel link are operated by the control unit to give a link with the ambient atmosphere. The control unit operates the valves to give a pulsation action at the patient treatment units e.g. a transparent treatment bell of glass and the like.
