A system, method, and apparatus for providing continuous operations of a user application (40) at a user computing device (34). At least two application servers (36) are provided with each application server (36) running the user application (40) concurrently and independently. Each application (36) server may have a persistent storage device (38) associated with it for storing data. In response to a user request 44) for data processing within the user application (40), the user request (44) is transmitted to the at least two application servers (36) for processing therein. A return result (48) - responsive to the user request (44) as processed by the one of the at least two application servers (36) - is passed to the user computing (34) device from one of the at least two application servers (36). If one of the application servers (36) fails or becomes unavailable due to a disaster or otherwise, the user requests (44) can be continuously processed by at least the other application server (36) without any delays.
