<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer container having a rotating-member lock means that has a compact design with a small number of components and cannot be damaged easily when it falls during distribution and to provide a developing device using the developer container, in a system in which the rotating force of a rotary member is transmitted to a container shutter via the drive transmission means of a device body, thereby opening/closing the container shutter. <P>SOLUTION: An arm 5d which can be switched between a locking position and an unlocking position is provided on a knob 5. The lock engagement part 5f of the arm 5d engages the locked engagement part 4d of the main body of the developer container 4, thereby unrotatably locking the knob 5. In conjunction with the operation of loading the developer container 4, an unlocking part 5e near the leading end of the arm 5d is pressed, thereby unlocking the arm 5d. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
