<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concentrically heat only a necessary spot of a packaging material as a container, in heat-sealing the container. <P>SOLUTION: This heating device is used for heating the end structural part 13 of a square barrel-like container which has four sequentially connected first to fourth panels 21 to 24 of an almost square shape, on the inner faces of which heating regions 31 to 34 to be heated are formed. Inside the end structural part 13, a hot blast jet nozzle 71 for heating the inner face of a bottomed cylindrical container is inserted. The jet nozzle 71 has four sequentially connected side walls 81 to 84 against a first to a fourth panel 21 to 24. Each of the side walls 81 to 84 has hot blast jet parts 121 to 124 which relate to the heating regions 31 to 34 of the corresponding panels 21 to 24 and have jet holes 111 and hot blast non-jet parts 125 to 128 other than the parts 121 to 124.
