PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collimator unit using a sleeve which is easy to assembly and usable as a variety of devices of an optical attenuator. SOLUTION: The collimator unit comprising a pipe-shaped sleeve 1 and a couple of collimators 3 which are fitted and fixed opposite both ends of the sleeve 1, and each collimator 3 is characterized in that it comprises a ferrule 5 where an optical fiber 4 is inserted and fixed, a collimator sleeve 6 in which the ferrule 5 is fitted and fixed from one end side and which has a stopper 9 for fitting and fixing the other end side to the sleeve 1 along the outer circumference, and a lens 7 which is fixed to the other end side of the collimator sleeve 6 and previously put in focus by the stopper 9.
