PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply apply vibrations at a plurality of positions of a bridge and measure them without a troublesome reinstall. SOLUTION: A self-advancing vibration generator 1 having an elevating vibrator 5 in the lower part of a car body is moved up to a measuring position on a bridge 24, and the bridge 24 is forcedly vibrated by grounding the vibrator 5 onto a road surface when the vibration generator is at a standstill, and applying vibration.
