PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device suitable for fuel of liquefied gas. SOLUTION: The fuel injection device for liquefied gas comprises a camshaft 22 housed in a cam box 21 of a pump housing 20, a tappet 27 arranged oppositely to a cam 23 formed on the camshaft 22, a plunger 25 reciprocating within a cylinder 24 through the tappet 27 by rotation of the cam 23, an inlet port 37a for inletting fuel, an outlet port 38a connecting to an injection valve, a pump working chamber 32 which communicates with the inlet port and outlet port and having a capacity varied by the reciprocation of the plunger 25, and a normally-open electromagnetic valve 30 for opening and closing a passage between the inlet port 37a and the pump working chamber 32. Further, a bellows 57 is provided for introducing the fuel leaked to the cam chamber side through a clearance between the cylinder 24 and the plunger 25 into inside and avoiding leaking to the cam chamber 21. The cam 23 is provided with a cam profile for maintaining uniform velocity of the cam during a force-feeding process of the plunger 25. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
