PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child seat attaching structure for an automobile for securely holding the top of a child seat. SOLUTION: A seat body has a tether strap tensioning means. The tether strap tensioning means can tension a tether strap 13 in the direction of restraining the top 9a of the child seat 9 when a deceleration condition detecting means 7 detects that the automobile suddenly decelerates.
