PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a fuel left in a fuel tank body to be positively extracted when a vehicle is scrapped. SOLUTION: The bottom segment 10A of a fuel tank body 10 has a slant surface made such that the central part of a location enclosed by a front wall segment 10B, rib 12, rib 14 and rib 20 may become the lowest segment 30. Fuel is guided to the lowest segment 30. The ribs 20, 12 and 14 are formed with recesses 34, 36, 38, 40 and 42. Fuel passes through these recesses 34, 36, 38, 40 and 42 and is guided to the lowest segment 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
